I visited a blog that I kinda have a personal connection too.
"How is that?" someone might ask, well it's because the blog is my family's blog.
My mom most recent post was June 17 2011, but it's a really good blog.
Here is the URL link to the blog so you can see what I'm talking about:http://rogersfamilypartyofsix.blogspot.com/
Here are 5 things that I learned while looking through the blog:
1. If there is one thing i know now that I didn't know a while ago it's that, taking care of a persistant, independent, funky, 2 year old girl, it takes alot of patience, and love.
2. My family has grown alot since we got Magdalyn from Ethiopia. She is a handful but it's worth it. My dad is a math teacher at Stevenson High-School. My mom is a homeschooling teacher and a wonderful mom to here 4 kids, of which I am the oldest. The children consist of Noah-10, Joshua-8, Magdalyn-almost 2, and me,Brennan-16 on Saturday.
3. The name of the family blog is called: Rogers Family ~ Party of Six
It's about our journey with Magdalyn mostly, but there are some times where it's about the whole family. The blog is followed by alot of people, and also friends and family.
4. I'd just like to say that my family ROCKS!!!!!!!! I have the best parents and brothers and sis, even though at points that statement can look completely false. I don't know what I'd be doing without my parents, actually now that I think about it, I wouldn't be here without my parents. They have loved me and cared and protected me from illnesses and death even. My family really cares for me and the same vice versa. My grandparents and great-grandparents love me to death, and I am proud to say that I love them just as much.
5. Taking care of a family and the people that you love is pretty hard. But it's so worth it. Here is a photo of my family:
Hope you enjoyed reading about my family and the blog about them.
